IMES Committees
Academics and Student Affairs
The Academics and Student Affairs (ASA) Committee is in charge of generating events geared towards the academic development of the IE student body. They cater to the academic needs of the IE community in various ways—from creating review materials to addressing specific student concerns to organizing academic seminars, workshops, and conventions.
Activities and Internal Relations
The Activities and Internal Relations (AIR) Committee provides opportunities that cater to the holistic development of the IE community through projects that supplement and complement the curricular activities that strengthen classroom learning.
Documentations
The Documentations Committee is responsible for documenting all of the IMES activities, as well as the milestones and achievements that have been accomplished. In every event, the committee is in the end process, as it tends to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the activities and initiatives.
External Relations
The External Relations Committee (ExRel) is generally considered as the Face of IMES as we continue to expand our reach and presence, and professionally represent IMES nationwide and internationally.
Finance
The Finance committee is one of the pillars of the organization that handles all financial transactions that are essential for all the activities of IMES. This committee is able to practice essential work skills by interacting with different entities, institutions, and organizations through tasks such as sourcing suppliers, planning project expenses, tracking, and recording cash flows.
Human Resources and Development
The Human Resources and Development committee is said to be the “Heart” of the organization. We create quality and meaningful events, driven by various advocacies and grounded by the principle of holistic development of each member of the organization. On top of that, we also check in with our officers, and take care of their well-being.
Logistics
The Logistics Committee serves as the backbone of the organization. The committee actualizes the plans of the activity-generating committees by ensuring that their documents are properly processed and the necessary permits are approved pre-event.
Marketing
The Marketing Committee serves as the bridge of the companies to students by promoting their career opportunities, training programs, and initiatives. Specifically, Marketing is in charge of pitching proposals to potential partners, spearheading event tie-ups, and attending programs organized by companies.
Publicity and Creatives
The Publicity & Creatives Committee is the main identity of IMES in terms of branding and visuals. Their works are first seen on its social media pages and at every event.
