IMES Events and Initiatives 

The Premier Summit is a 1-day annual flagship event hosted by the De La Salle University-Industrial Management Engineering Society (DLSU-IMES). The event was held last November 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Jose T. Pardo AFSC Hall - 5th Floor, Henry Sr. Hall, De La Salle University.

With industries evolving and leadership opportunities expanding, this summit is designed to equip future leaders with the skills and professional exposure needed to thrive across diverse sectors.

This year's theme, Compassionate Leadership, emphasizes empathy-driven leadership, offering students a platform to connect, grow, and develop values that prioritize care and understanding. As a formal welcome for incoming freshmen, the event features interactive sessions, thought-provoking seminars, and activities that foster genuine connections within the Industrial Engineering community.

IECON is a 1-day annual flagship event hosted by the De La Salle University-Industrial Management Engineering Society (DLSU-IMES). This event was held last March 21, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at The Verdure - 4th Floor Multipurpose Room, De La Salle University.

IECON 2025 is poised to be the largest Industrial Engineering Student Convention to date. The event focused on empowering individuals to pursue their passions and achieve success through the power of IE. The event featured hands-on breakout sessions led by industry leaders, showcasing how Industrial Engineering principles like decision-making, optimization, and systems thinking apply universally across industries, demonstrating that IE is more than a discipline—it’s a way of life.

IE Week 2025 is a week-long event comprising games, performances, and insightful seminars for Industrial Engineering (IE) students and professors. Also serving as an avenue for IE students, faculty, and alumni to foster connections, expand networks, and celebrate IMES’ 48 years, IE Week engages its participants in a week of fun and exhilarating events held both in DLSU - Manila campus and online.

AI Expo is a 1-day annual flagship event hosted by the De La Salle University-Industrial Management Engineering Society (DLSU-IMES). This event was held last July 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Saint La Salle Hall, LS 315, De La Salle University.

As artificial intelligence reshapes industries and redefines possibilities, this expo is designed to empower students, professionals, and organizations with the knowledge, tools, and visionary thinking needed to harness AI as a transformative force.

This year’s theme centers on the transformative potential of AI as your everyday assistant. More than just a tool, we explore how AI can serve as a thinking partner, ready to help, suggest, create, and support in every aspect of life. From managing routines to sparking ideas, this expo highlights how approachable, intelligent systems can empower individuals to do more, think deeper, and live smarter.

IE Convention 2024 is poised to be the largest student-led convention for Industrial Engineers in the Philippines, wherein it had 250 face-to-face participants and broadcasted to over 300 online participants. This event will bring together diverse participants, including students, faculty members, and professionals. With a focus on resilience in industrial processes and supply chains amid global uncertainties.
